The esports organization AVULUS has announced a change to its Dota 2 roster: carry player Ilya "ssnovv1" Kondrashov has been moved to an inactive status. The club made the decision public via its social media channels, citing recent observations of team practice and official match performance.
According to the club's statement, the management reached the move after monitoring the team's trainings and competitive appearances. AVULUS thanked Ilya for his time with the organization and emphasized that his transfer to inactive does not rule out a possible return to the active roster in the future.
Ilya ssnovv1 joined AVULUS in November 2025. During his stint with the team, AVULUS achieved a joint 5th–6th place finish at the CIS Battle 4 tournament with him in the lineup.
This adjustment follows an earlier departure from the squad: Alexander "Cloud" Zakharov has also left the team. The two recent exits leave AVULUS with vacancies that the organization will need to address ahead of upcoming competitions.
AVULUS is expected to announce an updated roster in the coming days. The timing is likely driven by the competitive calendar: open qualifiers for several major tournaments begin on 2 January, and teams typically finalize their lineups before those events.
For now, AVULUS continues preparations with the remaining personnel while searching for the optimal composition to compete in the forthcoming qualifiers and events. The organization reiterated its appreciation for the contributions of former roster members and did not exclude further personnel changes as it refines its competitive plans.
