Kazakhstani esports player Kaisar "ICY" Faiznurov has joined the CS2 roster of Novaq on a temporary loan from Virtus.pro. The move, which sees ICY take the place of k4zmo, was announced via Virtus.pro's social media channels.
Earlier in January ICY spent time on a short-term loan with another team. When the opportunity to join Novaq arose, the player expressed a desire to move to a higher-ranked organization, and Virtus.pro's management approved the arrangement.
Between January 8 and February 2, ICY represented the team ALLINNERS, which occupies 127th place in the official Valve rankings. Novaq currently sits slightly higher in the standings at 122nd.
Faiznurov left Virtus.pro's main lineup in October 2025. After departing the primary roster he finished the year competing for GoodGame Club, and subsequently moved to ALLINNERS before the current loan to Novaq.
The transfer is being handled as a loan agreement for CS2 competition, with Novaq integrating ICY into their active lineup in place of k4zmo. The clubs involved have not released further contractual details beyond the announcement from Virtus.pro.
