Like a Dragon Powered By Japan Unification, a television adaptation inspired by the first Yakuza game, now has an official release date. All episodes will be available on Prime Video on February 10.
The launch of Like a Dragon Powered By Japan Unification is timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the franchise and comes ahead of the planned releases of the remakes Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties.
The plot follows Kazuma Kiryu and his friends as they find themselves in mortal danger. To protect them, Kiryu makes the decision to return to Kamurocho.
The main cast includes Yaskaze Motomiya in the role of Kazuma Kiryu, Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi as Goro Majima, and Kazuhiro Nakaya as Akira Nishikiyama.
The series is a short run, consisting of three episodes in total.
