MaiL09 Reportedly on Trial with Alliance
16-year-old Swedish CS2 prospect MaiL09 is said to be undergoing trials at Alliance after earning praise from top players

According to a Russian-speaking insider known as solutioN00, 16-year-old Swedish Counter-Strike 2 player Liam "MaiL09" Tyugel has attracted the interest of the organization Alliance and is currently undergoing testing with the club. The report states that the teenager is attending trials, but neither Alliance nor the player has publicly commented on the circulating rumors.

At the time of the report, MaiL09 remains listed as a substitute for Metizport. The move, if confirmed, would mark a significant step for the young player, who has been drawing attention across the CS2 scene for his rapid development and in-game performances.

Late last season MaiL09 received recognition from several established professionals: ropz, flameZ, frozen, Spinx, XANTARES and NiKo all noted his potential. Those players — each of whom featured among the top-20 players in the 2025 rankings — expressed optimism that Tyugel could make a major breakthrough in 2026.

No official announcements have been made yet, and the situation remains subject to confirmation. Further developments are likely to emerge if Alliance confirms the trial or either party issues a statement.
