RUSTEC and Runa Team Triumph at Sber's Open Esports Games Final in Moscow; 4 Million Ruble Prize Pool

On December 7, 2025, the VK Play Arena in Moscow hosted the large-scale final of the Sber Open Esports Games. The international event brought together top Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 players from four countries — Russia, Kazakhstan, Estonia and Belarus. The tournament's total prize pool amounted to 4,000,000 rubles, and title partner Sber prepared special awards for the winners in addition to the cash prizes.

The Counter-Strike 2 portion of the finals kicked off the day's competition. RUSTEC, which had eliminated the current Russian Cup holders '33' in the semifinals, dropped the opening map to HOLLYWOOD in the final but mounted a comeback and secured the overall title in a tense, hard-fought contest.

Team '33' took the bronze medals in Counter-Strike 2. Sber also recognized standout individual moments: Aleksandr 'Brilliance' Vysotsky of RUSTEC received the special 'Incredible Moment' statuette and a cash award of 100,000 rubles after a decisive clutch in which he won a round one versus three opponents.

The evening session on the main stage featured the Dota 2 final. Despite strong resistance from Knights, Runa Team won convincingly with a 2–0 scoreline, claiming the championship in straight games.

Bronze in Dota 2 went to ChristoFire, the winner of Sber's third esports tournament, who this year received a direct invitation to the Open Esports Games and trained at SberUniversity under the guidance of professional coach Pavel '9pasha' Khvastunov. Sber's award for 'Greatest Contribution' was presented to Magomed 'Nesfeer' Kurbanov of Runa Team for near-flawless play that helped lead his team to victory.

The final also featured a special guest appearance by popular streamer Dmitry 'Recrent' Osintsev, who was invited by Sber. Fans in attendance had the chance to face him in a mini 1v1 Counter-Strike 2 tournament played on a bespoke map with unique prizes offered to participants.

The winner of the 1v1 received a gaming chair and went on to beat the streamer in a lively showmatch. Organizers also held a prize drawing from ZONE 51 for attendees, which added extra excitement to the festive atmosphere. Advertising 18+ Advertiser: PJSC Sberbank. OGRN 1027700132195.
