BLAST reveals six-event CS2 calendar for 2027, including a stop in Rio de Janeiro

Tournament organizer BLAST has published the outline of its Counter‑Strike 2 calendar for 2027. The company plans to stage six separate events over the course of the year, and the announcement was shared on BLAST’s official account on the social platform X.

According to the published dates, the first event on the 2027 roster is scheduled to take place from January 11 to January 24 and will be held in a country inside the Schengen area. The fifth event is planned for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with competition dates running from October 4 to October 17.

Organizers said they will provide fuller information about locations, participating teams and additional logistics at a later date. At this stage they have only released the broad calendar and the two specific date windows mentioned above.

Looking back to the immediate future, BLAST’s next confirmed tournament ahead of the 2027 season is BLAST Open Spring 2026. That LAN event is set for March 18–29, 2026, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and will feature a prize pool of $400,000.

Details about the teams taking part in BLAST Open Spring 2026 have been covered in prior tournament reporting; BLAST has indicated that more comprehensive participant lists and format breakdowns for both the 2026 and 2027 events will follow in forthcoming announcements.

The six-event schedule underscores BLAST’s continued investment in the international CS2 circuit. Fans and stakeholders can expect organizers to release venue confirmations, ticketing information and full competitive formats as the events draw closer.
