Alexey "PCH3LK1N" Shares Views on Possible Changes to BCGame Lineup and s1mple's Form

Streamer Alexey "PCH3LK1N" Pchëlkin commented on the prospects of BCGame's Counter-Strike 2 roster, suggesting the squad could face changes. The content creator expressed his opinions in a remark to Metaratings.ru, arguing that the current lineup may not meet the expectations placed on it by the team's star player.

Pchëlkin said he does not have much faith in the present BCGame roster because, in his view, s1mple sets very high standards for three members of the team. According to the streamer, those demands appear not to be met consistently. He added that s1mple does not seem to have the same complaints about electronic, but that the three Portuguese players in the lineup are the ones under scrutiny. Pchëlkin believes s1mple would likely replace them at the first convenient opportunity, since the squad is built around him.

Speaking about s1mple's current level of play, Pchëlkin noted that the player is not actually in bad form. For someone who has been away from consistent Tier-1 competition for a long time, s1mple's performances are reasonably solid. There are, of course, difficulties and problems to solve, but the situation could be worse. With more practice against top opposition and more LAN experience, Pchëlkin said s1mple could climb back into the top 20 or even the top 15 players in the world; a return to the absolute top five would be harder, and all of this still needs to be proven in matches.

On recent results, s1mple's team finished in the 13–16 range at IEM Krakow 2026. After that, BCGame placed third–fourth in qualifiers for BLAST Open Spring 2026 and failed to reach the main event. At the time of publication, the next scheduled tournament for Alexander "s1mple" Kostylev's roster is IEM Atlanta 2026, taking place from May 11 to May 17. It is expected that the team will participate in online competitions in the lead-up to the Atlanta event.
